A downloadable game for Windows

You found yourself lost in the woods. Nothing but the full moon lighting the night sky.

You continued your search and soon found a glimpse of hope. Except you would have to face your worst fear...

SCHOOL!

How much do you remember? Is it enough to escape? Face rooms designed from your worst nightmares (I'm looking at you biology).

Game Overview:

This game is designed to give middle and high school students a fun resource to recap topics learnt in school. Whether you are a kid looking to take a break from homework or an adult trying to test how much you remember, this game is sure to give you a great time! The clues are designed to be solved with prior knowledge relating to the academic subject the room is based on (free hints are available as well).

Important note:

Currently only the Elements Escape room under the subject of Chemistry is available, and the game is only downloadable on Windows. We plan to extend to other subjects in future versions of the game, as well as extend it to be available to Mac and Linux users. If you have any problems or suggestions, feel free to comment it below or send us an email at hoyopuzzles@gmail.com. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!

Install instructions

To play the game, unzip the folder you downloaded and open the .exe titled "main_game_script" to play the game. If you want, you can add a desktop shortcut so you can access the game from your desktop. Windows will prompt you "Windows Protected Your PC" and you have to click more info and then press run anyway. You only have to do this once. Note: This doesn't mean it is a virus, it's just that Windows can't recognize the publisher as we are a small indie team, not a big corporation.
